Are Our Words Counting?

So many times I have wondered if what I write really counts. Is anyone truly getting anything out of the words set before them?

I click on my blogs to respond to comments, to see how many have taken the time to read what I’ve written and am amazed when I see that others in many other countries have read my words.

This morning I saw 14 from United Arab Emirates. I don’t even know where that is! I’ve never heard of that place! Praise be to God that others, that I know nothing about, are hopefully being encouraged or maybe even introduced to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Germany, Australia, Nigeria, and India were also listed. I do know that in some of these countries Christians are being persecuted or banned from speaking their faith.

What an awesome discovery to learn that our words do count! We take so much for granted in America so to see several “likes” from the U.S. is not really surprising but definitely appreciated. To know that others in foreign lands are reading my blog, is encouraging to say the least. It’s up to the Lord to grow whatever seeds are planted. And to those in other countries, thank you so much for visiting my blog.

I have read blogs that have encouraged me, others that have given a nugget of insight I didn’t have before, and others that make me laugh. Our words, what we share with others, do have an impact and hopefully what we present to the world is uplifting and God can be proud.

We’re planting seeds where seeds may never have been planted, we’re encouraging other Christians in their journey, and we’re giving testimonies of faith to those who may need to hear that someone else has struggles, too.

Yes, our words count! Don’t stop writing, don’t stop encouraging others, and don’t lose faith because what you write could change a life.

See ya’ later…
