When The Words Flow

With the preparations for company coming; cleaning house, grocery shopping, getting the laundry done and out of the way it can be difficult to focus on writing but somehow I have been able to do that.

I think it’s a matter of priorities at times or what we want to do the most. We always seem to make time for what we want to do and in this case I preferred to write, but the priority needed to be food, clean house, and free time with my guest.

But believe it or not I did get a few chapters written on the new book in progress. That’s a praise, but on the other hand I was also up until 3:00 and 4:00 a.m. Hey, when the words are flowing like a downstream river during a rainstorm, I’m not going to get any sleep anyway so getting them on this screen is a must or possibly losing them.

I’m thrilled to say I have eleven chapters written now. I have no plans to stay up to the wee hours of the morning typing since my guest and I have plans and I can’t sleep until noon.

The Lord is fully aware of our needs and He knows I need sleep and that I have company so He’s not filling my head, yesterday or today, with more of the story. I still have no idea where this story is going but I can say, it is definitely getting interesting!

So tomorrow I will be playing in the dirt, having lunch with my guest and friends, and going out to dinner. We’ll see what happens from there.

Thanks for stopping by – until next time.
