I just received the Press Release for my latest suspense novel, Amy’s Quest and thought you may like to see what one looks like for those who have not gotten their book published as yet.
Press releases should be a part of your contract and is important because they are sent to hundreds of stores, outlets, media, etc. This is the one I received just this morning so it can give you an idea as to what to expect. Various publishers may do them a bit differently but they should contain your important information about your book and hopefully entice merchants to purchase them.
